Can a canvas be framed with metal frame?
Answer
Depending on the thickness of the wood your canvas is stretched on you can have your piece framed with a metal frame. Usually your canvas will be stretched on 3/8" stretcher bars. Measure the thickness of the stretcher bars you have and just make sure that the frame you choose has at least the depth of your art.
If you are having it stretched at ArtToFrames we use the 3/8" stretch bars.
